So many Rush fans including myself complained about the poor sound and film editing of the Rush in Rio DVD.
Well no need to worry about R30! The sound, film editing and photography is excellent and top of the line!
No more stupid close up shots of Alex's picking hand while he is soloing. You actually see the expressions on his face while he is feeling the climax of his solos in perfectly framed 3/4 body shots. The camera actually remains focused for 4 to 5 seconds for each shot instead of the ridiculous head spinning panning from camera to camera at a million miles an hour. You can actually watch and enjoy the boys playing their instruments.
I'm sure the boys in the band read the poor Rush in Rio reviews from the fans and you must give them credit for fixing all the complaints and delivering exactly what the fans were looking for.
I'll treasure this DVD forever and you can bet I'll be reaching for the R30 from my DVD collection far more often than the
Rush in Rio when I need my Rush fix.
Now let's pray for a new studio CD.
