I'm sure the 2 shows on this DVD are very funny, but if you go to Russell Peters official site, there is a request from the man himself to not buy this. He is apparently not being paid properly for it, and is asking all to boycott the sale of this. Here is the excerpt from his site:
"Russell Peters and his management do not endorse this DVD. The producers have sold thousands of copies of this product in Canada and have now released it in the US to take advantage of the release of Russell's OFFICIAL DVD - RUSSELL PETERS: OUTSOURCED.
Despite the fact that the producers have sold thousands of copies across Canada, Russell has only been paid according to the ACTRA scale and recently received a payment of only two thousand dollars, versus the tens of thousands of dollars that were made by the producers on this product."
Russell says -
"Don't buy Two Concerts, One Ticket!"

Yeah, it's true -- Russell Peters doesn't want you to buy this DVD, he doesn't get paid. So, while I understand his point of view, I had already bought this DVD before I knew that. And the fact of the matter is, this is one of the best Peters shows on the market.
You've probably seen bits of it before on the Comedy network. Peters pulls out all his best accents -- Indian, Mandarin, Cantonese, everything. I think this DVD distills the best of his work down into a couple of great specials. I saw the man live last year, and he is always funny. Therefore you can't go wrong. Especially if you can laugh at yourself, because nobody is spared.
I do have my reservations, but what the heck. 4 stars.

This guy is a comedic genius. Buy his CD, it is worth every cent. I watch his DVDs all the time and never grow sick of them! Stop downloading his stuff and support this comic because he needs to keep writing new material and doing new gigs - he is hilarious! His comedy is brilliant, part raunchy, all witty, all clever and his delivery of bits just keeps getting better and better every time I see him.
