C'est La Vie!,

This review is from: SAILOR V T01 (Paperback)
I purchased this manga(along with #3) because I am a HUGE Sailormoon fan, and had 1 and 2 in Japanese, but I speak French better than Japanese. The series is wonderful, it follows Sailor V(enus) as her Pre-Sailor Senshi battles in England along with her cat Artemus. The art is just marvelous, Naoko Takeuchi is clearly an awesome artist. The Glenat manga company is awesome with their manga. The translations are great, and they are actually bigger than the originals, and easier to read. They are sturdy, and the spines looks great, not an eyesore! The only thing is, it's built to look like a dist jacket book, butwhen you go to unfold it, you see that's it's all one big piece of paper. Greay buy

People are more familiar with Naoko Takeuchi through her Sailor Moon manga, but Sailor V actually preceded Sailor Moon and helped to set up the Moon universe. If you're a die-hard Sailor Moon fan, you definitely want to check out the Sailor V manga!

Code Name Sailor V vol. 1,
A Kid's Review - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: SAILOR V T01 (Paperback)
This comic book is all in French (Or Japanese if you buy the Japanese version.) and there are no Code Name Sailor V mangas available in English. =( Though if you are a true Sailor Moon or Sailor Venus fan, this book is a must buy!!! This is the series that Usagi (Serena) is always reading in the Sailor Moon manga. It is all about Sailor V and her friends and what happened when she was the first original Sailor Scout. If you want to know what happened before Sailor Moon, this series can give you all the information! If you can't read French or Japanese, there are many sites on the internet that have English translations that you can view for free! P.S. If you are learning French and like art, buy this book because it will help improve your language skills and art. *^ ^*
