Got this soccer trainer last month and tried it immediately. It really does save you a lot of time going after your ball, affords you more ball-feet contact, and allows you to kick as hard as you can without worrying where it will go, which are all very good. I got it for my my 8 year old daughter, but she lost interest after a short while, though. Its major drawback is that you almost cannot avoid stepping or tripping on the elastic cord everytime you plant your foot beside the ball when positioning for a kick. Its because the cord is tied to your waist and must lie before you when taking your kick. To avoid this, I find myself holding the cord up in front of me, then releasing it as I hit the ball. A little awkward. I ended up hanging the cord to the cross bar of a goal, some distance from the posts, and it worked fine for me. Its a good set-up for juggling practice, too. Just find something high enough to hang the cord to, with sufficient space in front, so you dont have to worry about anything else other than kicking the ball. I find this contraption useful really as a last option, when you dont have anyone to kick the ball back to you.
