Product Description

The Spirit looks like a futuristic tribal spear taking off from Area 51. Sleek and aerodynamic, it hides a secret. . . unscrew the handle to complete the spear! In a survival situation, use a branch to make the spear shaft and tighten it with a nail or with the provided setscrew. The Spirit can be thrown or used as a cutting tool, so it works great for any type of outdoor expedition. Do you have the Spirit? This SOG knife is backed by a lifetime warranty.

The heavy spear point can be unscrewed from the plastic handle and then attached to a threaded adapter. Remember to undo a "set " screw before unscrewing the handle. Broom, mop and paint poles, can all have different size threads so finding the right thread can be a problem. I found a metal thread adapter which can be mounted to a smooth ended shaft / branch which was ideal. My only concern is the sharp points at the back which is both a "pro" (spear point remains in target) and "con" (hard to withdraw spear). I did considered the Cold Steel Bowie Bushman before purchasing the Spirit Knife.

i really like this spear tip/dagger. screw it on a broom stick and you got an amazing weapon. as a knife it sucks which is not suprising at all since it's not a knife. the sheath is great even though it's hard to secure the handle in it. the button straps are too short.

Interesting spear knife, very sharp and ok steel makes it quite a fun and versatile instrument. The plastic handle was a downer tho.

The case and knife are fine, but then you try to snap the knife in the case and the strap is too short to go around the hilt of the knife - so the first time you carry it will be the last time you see your knife
