About the Author

Mark Crick est né à Londres en 1962. Un bref passage sur les bancs du lycée Condorcet lui fit découvrir Alain-Fournier, Camus, Colette et Cocteau. En 1986, l'establishment littéraire espagnol refusa de lui décerner le prestigieux prix Cervantès. Déçu, il renonça à l'écriture pour se consacrer à la photographie. La soupe de Kafka est le seul ouvrage de Mark Crick découvert jusqu'ici,la rumeur voulant que le critique Max Brod ait demandé sur son lit de mort que tous les carnets de Crick soient détruits.
