Couldn't Put It Down June 10 2014

I love reading this author's books. This one is my very favorite. I picked up my Kindle one night as I settled into bed to read a few pages before retiring. Low and behold it was 4:30 in the morning before I finished the book. I couldn't put it down. Each page drew me in to read the next page. The unsolved mystery was so captivating I had to finish it.
A must read!
Another delightful book by Jan Hudson May 23 2014

When I pick up a book by Jan Hudson, I know I'm going to have fun. Ms. Hudson has created two marvelously different characters and throw them together, the rich heiress on the run ends up in the pawn shop of a retired football player who shaves only on Saturdays. The heat of the chemistry between Anne and Spider threatens to burn up the pages. This reminds me of ROMAN HOLIDAY set in Houston, TX.

I re-read STEP INTO MY PARLOR because I actually remembered this story (ok, it was the hero I remembered) from its original release in the early 90's, although I didn't realize it was a Jan Hudson book so that was a great surprise. I especially loved the transition that the heroine makes and how the hero finds ways to easily merge her high-octane (because, boy, is she in trouble) ways with his easy-going lifestyle. This was a fun read - both times - and I'm sure I'll read it again, because, like all her work, it makes me feel good.
Curl up with a good book April 23 2014

STEP INTO MY PARLOR makes for a good read. Spider Webb is a great hero, the points-of-view are exceptionally strong, and the shifts seamless, while the writing is rich, the plot moves fast, and the story is full of interesting characters. I was especially impressed by the research that Hudson worked in to give the story a Texas authenticity.

A hot, funny, and exciting romantic adventure.

Jan Hudson is a master storyteller. The heroine is on the run from her stepbrother and the hero comes to her rescue. Her knight in shining armor is a pawn broker who keeps the Lemouge next to the snow tires. This is an amazing story that kept me up all night because I couldn't put it down. If you only buy one book this year, let it be this one!
