Remarkable set of cards,
By Pat Barclay (Salt Spring Island, B. C. Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Sacred Geometry Cards For The Visionary Path (Paperback)
I was introduced to this remarkable set of cards by a Body Talk practitioner, when something she discovered triggered a resonance with a particular card and she gave me a colour photocopy of it to take home. The next day, I looked them up at Amazon, found Francene Hart's website to read more about her, and and decided to order a set for myself. Soon afterward, I ordered another set, under the mistaken impression the first order hadn't gone through. So it wasn't long before here I was, the puzzled owner of TWO sets of Sacred Geometry cards by Francene Hart. My first reaction, of course, was to return the new set unopened but something made me hesitate for a day or two. Then I realized I'd just bought the perfect birthday gift for an old friend! Now, I'm not exactly saying "The cards made me do it," but once they enter your life, whatever passes for reality around you may undergo a subtle change. I suspect the reason for this is Hart herself, whose ability to communicate her spiritual and artistic vision is realized so beautifully in this deck, and whose deep knowledge of sacred geometry creates new pathways to understanding. So if these cards speak to you as they did to me, I hope you'll treat yourself to them, or put them on your wish list. You won't regret it.

Beautiful illustrations...,

While I think the cards are very beautiful, and the descriptions are insightful, I think I was looking for a little more information related to Sacred Geometry. A little more "ummph", I guess as to the meaning behind each illustration and geometric form. Perhaps better used as a spark for meditation, but in terms of "meaning" behind sacred geometrics, I was disappointed.

Powerful,

This new deck by Ms. Hart is magical. The images are simply gorgeous and the accompanying descriptions for each card insightful. Each time I've chosen a card, for myself or for others, the result has been amazingly synchronistic.

Beautiful art work but be careful,

The art work is really beautiful but there is a lot of delving into other religions in this deck. Some pictures include artwork of goddesses and gods from other cultures and while this may be cool for others this might be a hang up for some. Meditation and oracle reading can be very soul binding and if your not comfortable asking or tapping into other gods and goddesses for spiritual help than just stick to the cards that are more universal. Overall the deck and the oracle descriptions behind each card are very inspirational but had I known about the various religious symbols I would have looked elsewhere.
