My feline does not like having her nails cut... So I trusted the glowing reviews and gave this pair of trimmers a try. My cat still made a fuss, but she let me finish in one attempt which is a first. They are quick and clean and did not twist her toes/nails and made very smooth cuts.

The scissors might be a little tight in grip, if the person using them has big hands. The scissors trim the cats nails nicely and the trimming can be done quickly.

Just got this clipper after reading all the reviews on the other nail clippers.
My older cat needed his nails clipped; so I could save some money on bandages to cover all the cuts from him
launching himself off my lap.
My cat is terrible at taking any medication, so I was expecting more of the same when clipping his nails.
I was wrong.
This clipper worked well and is easy to use.

I wasn't sure if this would be good for a very tiny kitten, but it turned out to be perfect. Those tiny claws get hooked in everything. Of course, squirming kittens are difficult to get to sit still and I had to wait until she was asleep, but this little scissors were very easy to use. I've had others, but these are by far my favorite.

HASH(0x9a6961f8) out of 5 stars The best cat nail clipper I've been able to find Dec 12 2011

These are good quality cat nail clippers. I bought one of these over a year ago, and it still works like new after using it for clipping 36 nails per week (2 cats). The blades are precisely meshed, and the hinge has remained tight. It provides a relatively clean cut with no apparent pinching. The fairly small size makes it easier to avoid the "quick." This aspect has enabled me to use these quickly enough that the cats hardly have time to realize whats going on and so there is little complaining. I bought another one of these recently merely to keep one downstairs as well as upstairs for convenience. The older one still works as well as the new one.
