(i'm NOT 12 years old, i'm 14, so what?)
This video is one of the first pieces of Sailor moon mechantdice. What I don't like about the video is that it only contains two episodes and its the dub version. At the time they first started putting out episodes of Sailor moon on video it was only two episodes that were "the best". But Sailor moon wasn't the only cartoon/anime that got this kind of video treatment at the time(i can name some of those cartoons if you want me to).
The episodes contained on this tape are the last episodes of the season one dub(you still have to put up with that AWFUL Sailor Says, ICK!)
The cover picture is American drawn with a Barbie doll pink backround and has a glittery rainbow border(oooh, pretty colors!)
By the time when DVDs came out, ADV flims took over and made new Sailor moon videos(and they put FOUR episodes on the tape, not two, thank goodness!)
I think the video it self was good(i guess) but save your money for the ADV version or the uncut version(uncut is ALWAYS the best way to go!)unless if you are a hardcore fan who has to have EVERYTHING.

Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon brings back so many memories. When I was very young and Sailor Moon first came out, I found it by fate by flipping the channels. Back then no one else watched it and it was on at 6:00 in the morning. Many years later I reunited with it and then I ordered the Japanese episodes fansubbed. The Japanese episodes were amazing. Back then their was no official distributer, so I ordered from a fansubbed distributer. The Japanese version was so different form the American version. It was completely different. I love both versions though. The English version brings back memories from my childhood while the Japanese version is uncut. It's fun comparing the episodes and seeing how much was changed. This version, however, is the edited and changed. It cuts out many scenes and makes a lot of changes. While it has changed a lot from the original Japanese version, it's great for a trip down memory lane, and brings back my childhood memories. This volume has very important episodes. It contains many important events. Their are romantic moments, happy moments, and sad moments. One special thing about this version is that, in the original Japanese version they play a touching song during the revealing of the moon princess, but in the sub, they play a very special song. The emotion is kept. The song "My Only Love" makes the original scene from the Japanese version even more touching and heart-wrenching. "My Only Love" can make you get tears in your eyes, and it adds a lot more emotion to the scene. The Japanese version was very emotional, but the edition of "My Only Love" makes this even more emotional. Many exciting events happen, and this volume is very important. Whiel it's not the same as the Japanese version, it brings back memories from your childhood.Read more ›

Wow! Dubbed Episodes That are Actually Good! Feb. 13 2000
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: VHS Tape
Hi, I gotta say these are the best dubbed episodes you can get. In these episodes all secrects are revealed (darien finds out who sailor moon is, serena finds out who tuxedo mask is and everyone finds out who the moon princess is!) not only do these episodes have great story in them, but they also have the best song! ("My Only Love") I hope this was helpful! Enjoy!

Sailor Moon fans, look at this one; it won't disappoint. Oct. 20 1999
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: VHS Tape
This video provides the viewer with everything a good show has: Action, suspense, and a little melodrama tossed in. However, I don't understand how Serena and Darien failed to recognize one another as the defenders of justice. After all, it seems rather obvious to us, no? Anyway, onto another subject area. Zoycite's death is truly touching. Hard to ignore it. On the web, I can't possibly overlook all the "true-to-the-original Sailor Moon fans" and their trashing of this character, along with DiC. So what if they made her into a woman? I personally adore the female Zoey, and I'm not ashamed to let anyone know it. Kirsten Bishop did an exceptional voice job, especially the "Hahahahahahahaha!" laugh. You have your opinions, and I have mine. If I'm the only one who is a devoted female Zoycite fan ... so be it. I'll stop rambling and say that, once again, this video deserves the five-star rating I have given it.

Out Of This World! Nov. 2 1999
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Format: VHS Tape
Those two episodes were my favortie in the whole series and set a nice beginning for Sailor Moon R. I liked when Queen Beryle transformed into Queen Mettalia and when the scouts defeated her. I think "Carry On" is the best song ever!

Good Queen, Bad Queen Review July 19 2000
A Kid's Review - Published on Amazon.com
Format: VHS Tape
This video was ok. Only ok. Wanna know why? Because the subtitled version of these videos are sooo much better than the dubbed. Did you know that Day of Destiny was actually a two-parter and the dub made it into one? Did you know that the ending of Day O Destiny isn't the WHOLE ending! It's sooo much better to just buy the Subtitled Version! Don't get me wrong I love that we can get these dubbed episodes in North America but COME ON PEOPLE! -Sailor Sun
