About the Author
A Brooklyn-born Californian, Vincent Daczynski received his engineering degree from Utah State University. He began his career as a Field Engineer with IBM Corporation. He then joined LMC Data, quickly rising through the ranks to become National Manager of Field Engineering. In 1969, Mr. Daczynski left the business world to study full-time in India with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi where he became a qualified instructor of the Transcendental Meditation Program. He returned to the business world, taking a position with Singer Business Machine Company as product service manager, advanced systems, during which time he also established a Transcendental Meditation club for his colleagues.
Mr. Daczynski changed careers to stockbroker where he also made presentations on the TM program to fellow salesmen. Realizing the direct benefits of the TM program as a sales training tool, Vincent Daczynski developed his lecture notes into this highly useful book.
In 1972, Vincent Daczynski joined Maharishi University of Management where he worked for five years in various financial positions, taught the TM program part-time, and completed in-depth training in the TM-Sidhi program. Subsequently, Mr. Daczynski joined the federal government to continue his career in finance as a budget and financial analyst. Retired from civil service, he now devotes his time teaching the TM program to businessmen.
Mr. Daczynski, who has authored a book on speculating in oil and gas leases, enjoys sky diving, traveling to exotic corners of the world, prospecting, organic gardening and strolling along the beach with his wife, Melinda. His daughter, Dawn, and his son-in-law, David, have given Vince three fine grandchildren: Joshua, Bethany and Janell.
