A review for an educator who loved this book as a child, Aug 17 2006

I can still remember checking out this book back in 5th grade (around 1992?), after I had fallen head over heels for this book. From the very different cover design (as supplied by an amazon.com user-thanks!) to all the fun things to learn and do, I cannot rate this book any less than five stars. It has activities for just about any time of year, inside or outside, new ideas and old. The pictures and colors are very "modern" 60's, which I think is fantastic. I recently became an educator (officially, as I have always found a way to teach people, young and old!) and remembered the fun times I had with this book. I am buying a used copy of this today so that I can use this with my elementary music students. I hope they enjoy the songs and games as much I did when I was a youngster. Note to whomever has the rights to this book- if you ever decide to re-publish this, do NOT change one thing about this! (Except, maybe make it a really sturdy spiral bound. That's always helpful to those using books like this.)
