Last 3 episodes are missing,

This review is from: Samantha Who? The Complete First Season (DVD)
Does anyone know why my season one dvd only has the first 12 episodes of the season? And why there is only the commentary as a special feature when there are other features listed on the dvd packaging? It seems pretty weird that an imcomplete season has been released. I had to watch the last 3 episodes on YouTube. Weeeird.

I'm a huge fan of Christina Applegate, so I figured I'd give this show a shot and it was pretty good. Certainly not the best show, but it's worth a shot. Here's a snippet from Wikipedia of the plot since I think it'll explain it better than I can. "The show centered around Samantha Newly (Christina Applegate), a 30-year-old vice president of a real estate firm who developed retrograde amnesia after a hit and run accident. Upon waking, she realized to her dismay that she had been selfish and unlikeable before her accident, and therefore set out to make amends and become a better daughter to her somewhat dysfunctional parents, Howard (Kevin Dunn) and Regina (Jean Smart), a better friend to self-centered Andrea (Jennifer Esposito) and needy but well-meaning Dena (Melissa McCarthy), and a better on-again, off-again girlfriend to her roommate and ex-boyfriend, Todd (Barry Watson). Wryly observing her transformation from "old Sam" to "new Sam" was Samantha's bemused doorman, Frank (Tim Russ of Star Trek fame)."

Canadian DVD Set Defective,
This review is from: Samantha Who? The Complete First Season (DVD)
In answer to "Care Bear Girl," I also noticed the same problems. So I called the Buena Vista hot-line number that is on the DVD label. The guy I talked to, Troy, wasn't aware of this problem. I guess Canadians are generally too polite to complain. Troy told me he could replace my DVD set with a US edition. It took a week for a return label to get to me, and then I sent my DVD set in. After 7 weeks, I received in return the US edition of the Samantha Who? First Season, and it did not have any of the problems mentioned by "Care Bear Girl."As for the series itself, I love the type of silly humour it uses, and the emotional life lessons are endearing. Christina Applegate's comedic talents are evident. By the way, I'm not much of a "Married With Children" fan.
