About the Author

Margaret Maron grew up on a farm near Raleigh and lived in Brooklyn for many years. Returning to her North Carolina roots prompted Marcia to write a series based on her own background, the first of which, BOOTLEGGER'S DAUGHTER, was a Washington Post bestseller and swept the major mystery awards for 1993. DEATH'S HALF ACRE is the fourteenth book in the acclaimed Deborah Knott series. Visit her website at www.margaretmaron.com. --This text refers to the Mass Market Paperback edition.

Don't buy it March 21 2008
By S. Tunder - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD
Don't buy this machine. I have one and I don't want you to have it. That will leave more things for me to find.

IT is a great detector. It works great in salt water and on the beaches. It is very deep being a pulse inductive machine.

It will find all the metal that is there so figure on digging a lot if there is a lot of trash like pull tabs or bottle caps.

They sent me a book? Feb. 15 2013
By Aaron Daniels - Published on Amazon.com
Format: Audio CD Verified Purchase
I saw this deal and ordered it immediately. I really was looking forward to getting my metal detector in the mail. What I got was a book on CD, something about Sand Sharks. I was very, very unpleased, but I didn't argue, because what's the point? I just won't trust deals like this again very quickly. Look into everything before you purchase.
