5.0 out of 5 stars Three stories to enjoy, Oct 8 2009

"Santa, Honey" contains three short stories and I enjoyed reading all of them. It's the perfect book to enjoy a cold winter night huddled under a warm blanket with some hot cocoa to drink.
Although I bought the book mainly because of Kate Angells story I think that all three stories are great.

"Ho, Humbug, Ho" - Kate Angell (new story)
When speeding baseball star Alex Boxer is forced to stay in Holiday and play Santa as part of his community service he couldn't be more unhappy. But soon he realizes that maybe spending time with local Holly McIntyre could be the best christmas present he ever had.
This is another great story by Kate Angell and it's no wonder that I love her Rogues.

"Naughty or Nice" - Sandra Hill (reprint from 1996)
For Jessica Jones Christmas is all about how to avoid her "Christmas Curse". Dressing as Santa and holding up a store may be a bad idea but meeting hunky bodyguard Lucas Carter may be the end of her bad luck.
This is a funny and heart- warming story and I enjoyed reading it a lot.

"Christmas Unplugged" - Joy Nash (new story)
When sisters Emma and Casey decide to spend a weekend at a lodge they have no idea that this trip will change their lifes. Because after meeting brothers Matt and Jake and getting snowed in at their lodge things develop quickly and when it's time to leave both are no longer single.
This is a great story and I especially enjoyed reading about workaholic Casey and sexy Matt.

3.0 out of 5 stars Kate Angell short story is great !, Jan 27 2010

Ok here it is - I love Kate Angell book and usually pre-order everything she writes. Her part of the anthology was terrific. Baseball hunk speeds through a small town at Christmas and the judge sentences him to community service as the town Santa. It is very funny, sweet, short-story. The rest of the stories were just not good enough - to keep me involved in the plot. My laundry is done and my family had a nice hot supper - so Family 1 and Anthology 0. Glad I picked it up at the library.

If you enjoyed Kate Angell story check out some of my favorites of hers; Squeeze Play (Richmond Rogues, Book 1) ,Curveball (Richmond Rogues, Book 2), Strike Zone (Richmond Rogues, Book 3) & Sliding Home (Richmond Rogues, Book 4).Looking forward to Sweet Spot due out November 2010.

3.0 out of 5 stars ok, Nov 10 2009

The first story of the book "Ho, Humbug, Ho" was my favorite and really the only one worth reading. Holly and Alex were awesome together and I enjoyed how they fought but deep down wanted each other bad. The second story "Naughty or Nice" was horrible. I know its a book, but I still find it hard to believe that Luke fell in love with Jessie that fast. He knew her for an hour and hes saying "I love this woman". HUH? The Third story "Christmas Unplugged" wasnt that bad, but I have no desire ever to read it again. Ever. All in All I paid $7.99 for an ok 80pg christmas story. What a waste.
