"SARA LEE" BOOT PROTECTOR Size : 12 oz Boot protector. Penetrates to protect, allows material to breathe. Tough, long lasting silicone protection for work & outdoor boots. Silicone bonds to create barrier to water while still allowing articles to breathe. Does not darken or discolor boots. For work and outdoor boots. Odorless when dry. Unique silicone formula bonds to leather and fabrics to create an extremely tough barrier, while still allowing materials to breathe. Ideal for work, hunting, hiking and other outdoor boots and shoes. Odorless when dried and cured. Directions:- Apply to clean, dry boots. Hold can upright. Spray entire surface from 7-10" away with a light, even coat. For maximum protection apply a second coat after 4 hours. Use in a well ventilated area away from heat and flame. Do not use while smoking. Allow article to dry for 24-48 hours. Spot test light colored materials as silicone may impart a slightly darker, richer tone. For work and outdoor boots.

I paid 8 bucks for Kiwi Boot Protector in hopes of waterproofing my military desert boots (suede) for riding my motorcycle in bad weather. I sprayed my boots down liberally and as directed did a second coat a few hours later let em dry for a day. I honestly thought that it probably wouldn't work, but it was worth a try cause its cheaper than getting new boots. I was excited to see if it would work so the next night I took them and ran water on them where I figured they'd leak and the water just beads right off. thanks Kiwi.
