60s style decadence,

Remember the 60s, when the movie trailers and previews were suggesting a lot of Sex and nudity, only to disappoint the viewers by showing little to No skin scenes. In those days, Decadence and Perversion were big sellers as they were the latest things to hit the silver screen. These 2 cheezy movies were probably targets for Relic hunters, but not much more.HOT NIGHTS... is one of those no-acting flick, where no dialogues are heard. The story is carried by a never-ending narration. It is truly a weird one. As usual, lots of woman in various stages of undressing (little nudity !!!) and lots of action from wild parties are shown. At times, you also get hints of 1940s and 1950s educationnal shorts. The producer is trying to warn small town girls about the danger of going to college in a BIG city. You meet bad people and nasty things happen to you. The story is predictable. The main actress (using the term loosely) is a Heavenly delight to look at.... but her boyfriend is a sight that is hard to withstand for more than a minute. VELVET TRAP... a processed cheese jem... or jam. !!! Girl gets raped, gorl meet nice boyfriend, boyfriend is a crook, girl gets caught in a prostitution circus, girl dies..... Oh yeah, girl gets naked a few times.... This one starts, but never ends. Everything is endless. Actually, endless and leads nowhere.... It is very theatrical, except for the mandatory shower scene. On this DVD, you get nothing but the movies (no trailers, no adders, ziltch). If you are writing a Ph D in Mid-60s styling of woman underwears, grab a copy. If you are worshipping the jeans that you wore at Woodstock, go for it... If you do not qualify in any of the above, keep your cash.

The DVD product I was expecting arrived quickly in the mail. It worked fine, but I was disappointed to find that the DVD case and the paper cover were both cracked and ripped. It would've been good to know about these defects beforehand.
