The book serves no purpose. The 'pronunciation guide' fails to cover many sounds of Tibetan, and for some that it does cover, it merely states that there is no equivalent sound in English. There is no attempt to use IPA.There is no grammar at all, no word index, merely a list of random phrases. Presumably the learner is supposed to plough through these 130 pages of phrases and memorise each one separately. It is completely without value.
