2.0 out of 5 stars Not worth the money., Nov 18 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Scare Tactics (Paperback)
This is a book about moviemaking, but it really doesn't say that much about it. There are a lot of good books on the subject. Don't choose this one.

4.0 out of 5 stars Inspirational But Missing something, Dec 19 1997
By A Customer
This review is from: Scare Tactics (Paperback)
The caption reads "The Insider's Guide To Making Your First Horror Film". Although it does mention horror films(being Russo's area of expertise) it doesn't really explore the topic like it should've. Its geared more towards filmmaking in general. I was a little disappointed and I think fans of horror filmmaking will be too. Although it features several interviews with today's top horror directors (Wes Craven, Rick Baker & Joe Dante)I'd stick to Russo's other book "Making Movies", it's a lot better.
