They didn't use a steady cam for the helicopter and trail shots,very shaky.Should be longer for the price, but better than some other Blurays.Film look proccesing is not the best when it comes to travel dvds,I like a realistic(video look).When you show a beutiful hapsburg palace please film the interior as well, it is so frustrating that they don't.At least its HD with views of these locations you don't get from other travel dvds. If you wan't a blu ray that's done perfectly(reference quality travel Bluray) and costs way less for 3 discs and 11 hours check out Magnificent Italia bluray.

The scenery is magnificant. Unfortunately, being not in the best of physical shape, this affords seeing the greatest scenery around the world, without actually having to put the effort into it! The orator of the series, has a laid back voice that behooves a leisurely supposed feeling of the walks. I'm also seeing areas not previously seen on any on my previous viewings from around the world. So kick back, and let others do the walking for you - you may feel the need to get up and walk around yourself, to rid the guilt about sitting in your favourite seating spot, and letting others do the work! Highly recommend - I'm even thinking of giving copies to everyone this Christmas!

The images shown are beautiful.
The narrator does not have good diction. Sound is not great.
