Great Book,

This review is from: Schaum's Outline of Signals and Systems (Paperback)
It's a great book with hundreds of solved problems. I used it with "Signals and Systems Made Ridiculously Simple" (Zoher Z. Karu) for learning Signals and Systems (with no prior knowledge of the subject) in 4 weeks.

This is the book to get if you're an Electrical/Computer Engineering student. It should be worth more for its marvelous coverage of all the topics. It was nice to be able to have it as reference but it is also nice to have for learning concepts. I used this book extensively to teach myself Fourier Series and Fourier Transforms in preparation for an introduction to Communication Systems Engineering Class. This book has also helped me understand concepts for other classes (Laplace Transforms, Z-Transforms etc) I highly recommend this book. It is well written and flow nicely. A bonus is the problem sets with solutions.

If you're serious, buy it anyway...,

If you're struggling like I did in the course then the problems don't offer enough detail to help. The explanations are okay and a lot of times the schaum's outlines offer a different way of thinking about a problem than your text which might help. But if you're serious about doing well, you should buy it anyway, because it won't hurt to have it.
