If you (or your kids) like Scooby Doo, but you've noticed that the animated section of the video store seems to have 101 Scooby Doos, and it is just too bewildering and confusing to know what to get---which ones are movies, which are episodes, etc.?? Allow me to simplify the situation: pick up Scooby Doo on Zombie Island! It is clearly one of, if not THE, best. Don't be put off by the "Zombie" title---it is not too scary for most kids, it has a very good plot, and even has a few touches for the older 'kids'---like we finally get some acknowledgment that Fred and Daphne have feelings for each other! Duh! Why the writers feel they need to avoid a relationship is a 'mystery' to me. Anyway, the characters just in general seem to be written in a more lively and engaging way. Very fun!!

The Witch's Ghost and the Cyber Chase movies are also worth looking at, if the "Zombies" are out.

5.0 out of 5 stars An Awesome Scooby Doo Video July 16 2004
By A Customer
Format:DVD
I loved this movie, and thought it was one of the best Scooby Doo videos I've ever seen. There's action, laughs, and even some romance. I love it when there are a lot of hints of Daphne/Fred, and there are quite a few in this movie. The music is really good too. One of the great things about this movie is the characters aren't running around aimlessly, not that there is anything wrong with any of the Scooby Doo episodes (I loved them too). There is a real, exciting plot.

Summary: Mystery Inc. has seperated, and Daphne is a reporter. She is trying to find real ghosts for her new show. Fred reunites Mystery Inc. and they travel, solving mysteries and looking for real ghosts. A girl working at a market, Lena, overhears them talking about looking for ghosts and offers to bring them to Moonscar Island, where Simone, her employer's, house is being haunted. The gang goes and finds that there are zombies, cat creatures, and ghosts!

5.0 out of 5 stars Scary one...JUST PERFECT!
This one, I agree, kids under at least 5 shouldn't watch. Daphne and Fred put out a zombie head...it's a bit scary, ya know. But it's still perfect! Read more

1.0 out of 5 stars a disgrace to the scooby pedigree

3.0 out of 5 stars Ok, Movie
This movie is ok. It is not one of my favorite Scooby movies. I don't think that it is as good as the Cyber Chase and Witch's Ghost movies. It is worth watching once. Read more
