17-year-old Farley has the stick-handling skills to be the next Sidney Crosby—not that Farley has any idea who that is. His sheltered life consists of being homeschooled by his pacifist parents, hanging out with Eve, the beautiful girl next door, and playing shinny with the local rink rats. However, his idyllic world is turned upside down when he becomes an overnight success in a major hockey league, throwing him into a whirlwind of media hype and endorsement deals. Farley soon learns that there’s an ugly side to hockey fame, which not only threatens to compromise his values, but his relationship with Eve.

I went out on a whim and bought this movie without knowing much about it as far as reviews went. With that being said I quite enjoyed it. It is a musical and not your standard hockey movie. My three year old daughter loves hockey and the music was a bonus for her. A good family film Canadian style!

The young kids who (not giving away secrets, so you will have to see the film).... at the end are adorable and both have great voices. Olivia and Marc Jordan (the lovely Amy Sky's hubby, for those not in the know) are just wonderful parents of the young man. You'll want to purchase both the CD and DVD, in my opinion.

Item was in perfect condition! The movie is hilarious and it was great to see a Canadian made movie!! I am a fan of Hawksley's so it was fun to see him in a movie!
