This part is a very close match to the factory trim. The smooth texture is spot on but the color is slightly off. The trim has a deeper gloss type color while this part has a more matte/flat finish. This part is a much closer match than the Metra version due to the texture on the Metra. It fits very nicely and I did not have any problems with the installation.

The appearance of the Scosche is pretty decent. As others have said, finish is good, color slightly off. I had issues trying to get the Pioneer AVH-P3300BT seated as flush with the trim as possible. The HU was way too recessed. As I was trying to adjust fitment the tabs on the face plate weakened and two of them broke off. Not a happy camper that I have to buy another kit. If you purchase this, be careful.
