4.0 out of 5 stars Why no score soundtrack in Canada? Jan 8 2011
Format:Audio CD
The album is great: if you liked the movie, just get the cd because it's almost everything you want to hear.

Why almost? Because there's also a score soundtrack available only in MP3 download on Amazon.com, which contains pretty much everything else heard in the movie. But you need a US billing address to buy it! Otherwise, forget it... This score soundtrack doesn't exists on cd, and thanks to Amazon.ca's lack of MP3 support, you're still stuck with all that you could go buy at a brick and mortar shop...

I'm happy with this cd, but very disappointed for I can't legally buy what I want to pay, although Amazon announced that in 2008, it would roll out its DRM-free mp3 store to its international sites. It's now 2011, and I'm still waiting...

4.0 out of 5 stars Gives (very nearly) what it promises Jan 31 2011
Format:Audio CD
It's a given that if you're looking at this item, you saw and loved the movie. And you probably liked the soundtrack enough to consider buying it. It's certainly a very good soundtrack, and listening to it without the context of the movie doesn't take away from that. My one problem is that the CD doesn't include the Bollywood-style song that Matthew Patel sings. I really liked that song. Still, it's got all the background music, diegetic or otherwise, and the original stuff by Sex Bob-Omb (Beck), Clash at Demonhead (Metric), and Crash & the Boys (Broken Social Scene). So fair enough.

I bought this because I love the music from the movie, It would have been nice if some of the songs were made into 3 min and a bit songs instead of 1 min and a bit. Other then that I have zero complaints =)
