This is a beautiful book. I think it's reasonably priced ($14.95 for hardcover / dust jacket) and it will walk you through everything you need to know to be able to scrapbook successfully!The book includes a VERY short history of scrapbooking, answers to some basic scrapbooking questions, and a list of basic supplies and tools as well as ideas for less common items. Then, the author goes on to tell readers how to organize photographs, create beautiful mats, use different techniques, do layout and much more.
One other thing I like about the book is the "You Will Need" and "Tips" sections of each project area. These are quite helpful.
Aside from the benefits in learning scrapbooking techniques, you could literally just enjoy the book for it's beautiful pictures even if you weren't interested in scrapbooking!
Finally, I would like to say that I've never met nor am I affiliated with the author or publisher. I received no compensation or benefit for this glowing review. It's given five stars and compliments simply because it's the best scrapbooking book I've ever seen.

This book might be helpful to someone very new to the scrapbooking hobby, but I found the book VERY dated. I thought the pictures & pages were clear and nicely done in the book, but looked like scap pages from the mid to late 90's.
