About the Author
Greg Walker, with over sixteen years Ranger, Reconnaissance, and Special Forces experience, now serves as a historian on U.S. special operations and units. His military awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, the Joint Meritorious Unit Award (El Salvador), the Army Superior Unit Award (El Salvador), and three awards of the Army's Achievement Medal. He holds both U.S. and Brazilian (SF) Parachutist Wings, the Expert Infantryman's Badge, and El Salvador's elite reconnaissance/sniper badges. Walker is a senior editor for the special operations journal Behind the Lines and executive editor of both Fighting Knives and Full Contact magazines. He is author of At the Hurricane's Eye, the true story of U.S. Special Operations from Vietnam to Desert Storm.
