Nothing to get worked up about, Aug 24 2005

Zach Daniels is on a forced vacation from law enforcement until the person who shot his partner is arrested. I would quibble with the idea that giving a possible vigilante cop MORE time to track down a criminal, but it is a plot device. Through a series of events, Zach is trapped in a drugstore basement with Anna Smith and the chemistry is undeniable.
However, when we get to any part of the book where the 'chemistry' is described, I felt as if I were reading vague descriptions in sonnets instead of a Silhouette Desire book. What is the point of making the heroine a virgin unless you are going to do something interesting (or at least descriptive) with that storyline? Oh well, the book is short and at times made me smile but I would not recommend it as a keeper.
