In true TechTV fashion, author Mike Wood distills the process into the need-to-know essentials that will have you viewing flicks before the day is out. By focusing on three primary steps--determining sources (DVD players, satellite receivers, VCRs, and music servers), figuring out how to control those sources (receiver, preamp, and so on), and then choosing how and where to display them--Mike delivers the information in easily digestible chunks that you an choose to build on (or not!). Okay, but not really good for newbies or pros. It doesn't give insight to why pros do things and it doesn't really speak to the install lamens.
