I've bought a lot of the Erin Hunter manga and I have to say this isn't one of the best. It's not so much the content that's objectionable. That's actually pretty nice. I liked seeing Toklo and Tobi as young cubs and seeing what happened when they were in the big bear's territory. The problem was that there wasn't enough content. For the price I payed for this book, I would have liked the reading to last more than 2 minutes. I know this is part of a series, with more comics to follow, but there just wasn't a lot of story here. I'd like to see future manga be about twice as long, to allow for more panels/story per manga.

I found this novel very enjoyable and pleasant. It can be difficult to discover a sophisticated novel of which you can sit down and enjoy. I found this book to be full of teachings, and very informative as to how to grizzly bear sustains itself in the wilderness. The splendid artwork was incredibly realistic and really tied the whole story together. This book was not overly ridiculous like some novels, nor did it make me feel cheated by reading it. 'Twas a very nice book, and I would definitely recommend this novel to others who enjoy tasteful literature. I really loved it.
