Ingenious..., May 6 2007
By Michael Matthews - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Self-Hypnosis Revolution: The Amazingly Simple Way to Use Self-Hypnosis to Change Your Life (Paperback)
This is by far one of the best self-hypnosis books on the market, especially for someone like me. I'm a pre-med student and a lot of times when I do mundane tasks such as cleaning or even exercising, it feels as though I'm wasting time I could be using to study. I become anxious whenever I do things that I feel are a "waste of time". However, with this book I'm now able to change those same chores and make them fun and feel useful. I'm only on the second day of using this program, but now chores that I used to hate doing are actually exciting and fulfilling! Imagine that, I now enjoy cleaning my room. Not only that, but the anxious feeling is gone and I'm looking foward to postive changes. Great book!

Blair's Zen Revolution...How Your Ordinary Can Make You Extraordinary, July 30 2007
By Charisse Barsella - Published on Amazon.com
This review is from: Self-Hypnosis Revolution: The Amazingly Simple Way to Use Self-Hypnosis to Change Your Life (Paperback)
I was and am so enormously impressed by what I read in Forbes Blair's second book, "Self-Hypnosis Revolution". Unlike most of the reviewers I am actually one of Forbes's very satisfied clients. A couple of months ago out of the blue, I contacted him for a session and found out he was an author too! I immediately got and read both of his books the same day! The first, "Instant Self-Hypnosis", was a great read.
But the second book was a total surprise! It was completely different from his first book and I dare say from any other "self-hypnosis" book you're liable to ever read ever. As I read and read "Self-Hypnosis Revolution" I realized this book really wasn't about hypnosis per se as it was about the connection between what we do everyday as ordinary tasks and how we see what is this ordinary to create an extraordinary life! WOW I thought, this is actually more like a Zen concept than a self-hypnosis technique!
The question this book answered for me without any drama and so succinctly with the Zen twist is, "How can I make real on-going self-improvement from exactly where I am right now with what I have? I admit I did get goosebumps when I finally got the simple answer to that question. And when I did get the answer I thought, "Could it really be that simple, though?" As we go about our daily tasks, everyday jobs, errands, life activities, daily chores and the like we can effortlessly begin to weave the deeper meaning of it all? Well Forbes says Yes!
Forbes' methods expose how truly simple it can be to transmute the ordinary meaning of ANY daily human activity into a powerful catalyst for life changes but the ultimate beauty of his work is in transforming the mundane activities. Those things we do that always seem to be in the way of getting the REALLY important things done.
Even in the first few hours of using his methods I could feel a jump start in rejuvenating and reprogramming the love of my life; the small, the big, the boring, the exciting, regardless of what type of activity I was engaged at any time. And then, the real significance of "Self-Hypnosis Revolution" blasted through me: EVERYTHING we do as humans and a human community is sacred, and when we treat our life experiences that way then EVERYTHING changes for the better!
This book will help you as it did me to find peace, joy and `opportunity for personal empowerment' regardless of where you are or what you're doing.
What Forbes accomplished so easily is to help you make changes in your life that you can live with and more importantly he shows you HOW to do that in just a few minutes a day. So again how does Blair suggest making self improvements? Do it in a way that allows you to start with your ordinary because your ordinary IS extraordinary!

I have read many books on self hypnosis and all sounded great in concept but actually implementing them on a daily practise did go beyond 4th or 5th day. Hypnosis method using this book actually made me use self hypnosis without missing a day and I am already seeing some positive changes in me in less than 8 days !... Great Work by Forbes Robbins Blair.
If this book does not help in using self hypnosis then I don't know if there is any other simpler method than this. I tried it on my spending habits and reaching some personal goal and I see it actually works.
I personally want to thank Mr. Forbes Robbins Blair for this best book. This book along with "Instant Self-Hypnosis" by same author is Best combo for help with Self Hypnosis you can find in the market.
