I tested the Sennheiser HD 202 set today with my PC, my stereo and my TV. The sound is very good. Good bass and nice treble. Good separation quality of sound and I am pleased with the set. I read in some reviews that the head set tends to get tight around the ears and found that to be true. I also have a solution for that. Spread the headband apart a little (or as much as you need) then take a hair dryer and heat the top of the plastic headband for about 2 minutes and then hold it under cold water for a minute or so. This eases the tension on the headband and makes them comfortable to wear even for longer periods of time. It worked for me and I am very pleased with my purchase.

These headphones provide good sound for the price but are quite uncomfortable. I have medium to large ears and after a short time using these headphones my ears hurt. My spouse has smaller ears and finds that these headphones hurt after a while and never feel like they quite fit over the entire ear.
I recommend that you spend a little more money and get the Sony MDR V6 or AudioTechnica M30 instead.

I was really impressed with these headphones when I got them. Considering the price, they have quite good sound quality. I also found them comfortable to wear for long periods (10 hours). The only problem is that they're not very durable. I've had mine for less than a year and the cables are fraying; one headphone no longer works. I usually expect headphones to last a lot longer than this! I probably wouldn't buy them again because of that.

This product is excellent. It sound great for the price. No need to spend more for headphones!
You'll feel as if you spent a fortune for professional headphones. They are light and they isolate from external noise.

Really, you won't get headphones better than this at this price. These headphones continue to deliver at the Sennheiser standard for high-quality sound products. The first thing I noticed when I got these headphones was the extremely long cable. In the box, you will find a convenient little cord wrapper, so don't worry about keeping the cord nice and tidy. The actual cord is nothing special, it will tangle, but it feels quite durable in the hand. It plugs fine into my laptop and has no difficulty plugging into my portable entertainment devices either. I don't think the cord is removable, but for the price, what do you expect? Well, after you hook the headphones up, the next thing you do is probably put them over your head. Unlike other headphones where you can feel the headphones over your head, these ones just blend in and are super comfortable. When I say this I mean it, these are probably the most comfortable headphones I have ever put on, and I could honestly wear these forever. It has comfy earcups and a nice soft headband which is probably what makes it so comfortable. Now, let's talk sound quality. The sound is actually really impressive, the sound is really nice and you can hear some of the smaller details. The sound is very slightly muddy at the slight occasion, but aside from that it is really powerful especially with songs with high bass. The design isn't exactly that appealing in my opinion and the headphones themselves don't really feel that durable and it doesn't come with the case, but there is no doubt that these are awesome headphones, and if you are looking for something as a nice pair of headphones for home and studio use, you probably want to pick these up!

Love these headphones for the same reason I liked my HD 437s, their simple design seemed to make the last FOREVER. I had those for over five years, they had been stepped on, sat on, possibly even run over. I had bought higher end sennheisers, audio technicas, all ended up breaking at some point and I would just go back to the 437s. Maybe I'm too rough on my headphones, but if you're anything as negligent as me you should probably get yourself a relatively cheap, tough, and pretty good sounding pair of headphones. Hey, that's exactly what these are! Awesome!

I can't really speak to the sound quality, I've never had any issues and never truly noticed a difference when trying headphones costing a few hundred dollars more, all with glowing reviews from crazy audiophiles.

The only problem I have with them is that they're not ENOUGH like the old HD 437s, leatherette and padding replacing the old mesh and padding. That's just a case of personal preference, and it was just what I was used to.

The jury is out on if these things will last as long as my old pair, but it sure seems like it might.

I tried several more expensive headphones from other manufacturers but found the HD202s had a very nice, accurate sound with no over boosted bass. The positive reviews from other purchasers also influenced my decision. I agree that the cord for these phones is ridiculously long but not a deal-breaker.
These may not impress your friends who are into overpriced b-word phones but if you like true to life sound without spending a fortune, these are definitely worth a listen.

I researched a lot of headphones and for the price, they were the right choice. I use them for my mp3 and they sound good. They're light and not tight on my ears (I do have a small head). Very long cord that can be a plus when listening to a movie or music at home.
Very happy with my purchase.
