After 7 months, the right earbud stopped working. I contacted Sennheiser about providing me with a replacement or fixing it. They informed me that because amazon.ca is not an authorized reseller, I am not covered by warranty. Nowhere does it mention on this page or any further documentation about this legal loophole. Do not purchase this product unless you are content with a substandard product and service.

Pretty great sound, and they stay in the ear quite well. However after only a couple months the sound started cutting out when there was any pressure at all on the base of the wires. Eventually got worse to the point where I basically have to hold the base of the wires just so, or I either get no sound, or very distorted sound.

Almost 2 months with these buds so far and they are still kicking. The sound is clear, good amount of bass, clean mids, nice highs. Compared with the Panasonic RP-HJE120-K buds and Galaxy S5 buds, these produce a nicer sound and fit better. Personally, I think they are a bit overpriced ($57 when I bought them), these align more with the quality of a $30-$40 pair, but you are also paying for the Sennheiser brand. Overall content with the purchase, but might look somewhere else for my next pair.

Update 11/3/14
After using this set for quite a while now, I am very satisfied. Solid construction, great sound, easily wearable for 8+hrs (big thing for me, because my ears tend to sweat). I will still leave this at a 4/5 because of of the weird cord lengths, just make them the same length already.

I bought a pair of Sennheiser CX 300B MK II Precision Enhanced Bass Earbuds on the 31st December 2013. The earbuds perform really well, and I'm really pleased with the sound quality. However, they stopped working completely in July 2014 because of audio jack wiring failure (before they stopped working completely, one of the earbud only works when I fiddle around with the jack). I didn't expect them to fail so quickly, since I'm not a heavy user (never more than 4 hours/week), and I treated them with care.

I called Sennheiser division at my city and asked them if there's a warranty for the earbuds since they failed after only less than a year of usage, and they responded me that since I purchased it from AudioPoutine on Amazon, an unauthorized reseller of their product, there is no warranty. I have to repair the earbuds myself.

I'm very disappointed with Sennheiser, since I thought their products have good and consistent reliability.

Audio quality is good for my listening habits (gym, flights, running). One of the earbud cords was designed to be longer so that they hang to the side, but it seems excessive and is a minor annoyance if you're wearing a jacket or zip-up sweater. Still glad I picked 'em up.

Unbelievable headphones for the price. Lost a pair of these recently after stumbling across them years ago and purchased again without hesitation. Excellent quality, decent noise cancellation, great bass driven and rich clear sound.

I'm using my third set of these (having broken the first one and lost the second one) and they really are great. They really block out external noise quite well and the quality of the sound is great. As someone with pretty small ears, I'm also quite happy that they fit and stay in! Having gone through a number of headphone sets, I would highly recommend these as the best ones - it's a good investment.

Best in ear headphones I've tried for under $100, and they even surpass the quality of others I've tried over $100.

Good quality build, L shaped 3.5mm headphone jack, earbud tips stay on headphones. All in all, very impressed with the build of these headphones. Only problem with the build is that they are meant to wrap around the back of your neck with the left earbud having a shorter cable than the right earbud, this is, in my opinion pretty much useless and more of a hassle than a benefit, but it's really not that big of a deal.

In terms of sound quality, there really isn't much to complain about. They provide good, clear sound. They're very well adjusted for highs and lows, however unlike other headphones (Beats) they do not sacrifice the mids to achieve massive highs and lows.

Would very much recommend these headphones to anyone.
