Like many headsets in this category, there are three tiny buttons on the in-line control pod. They don't have good tactile feedback (what some call "click-feel"). The central button does triple-duty as power on/off, play/pause, and make/answer phone calls when paired with a phone. Oops - it does quad-duty, as it will also activate pairing. And it will activate Siri on an iPhone. And it makes coffee...
If music is playing, a quick, but not too quick, click will pause the track. (If you don't click long enough, nothing happens). But when un-pausing, it's all too easy to initiate a phone call to the last number dialed. Another quick click (usually) un-pauses the track. But click too long, and it triggers the iPhone's Last Number Redial feature, and makes a phone call. Surprise - you were expecting your tunes to resume and instead, somebody's phone starts ringing. I found it difficult to get the timing right to ensure reliable play/pause commands. The middle button will also summon Siri (press and hold). Press and hold even longer and the headset turns off completely. In my opinion, the designers have packed too much functionality into this single button.
The other two buttons also have their shortcomings. They work as combination volume up/down controls (a short click) and next/previous track controls (a longer click). There's no audio feedback (i.e. beeps) to confirm activation of either function, so they can be a bit tricky to use reliably.
It's possible to simultaneously pair the unit to two different devices.Read more ›
The sound is very nice and the bass is a little artificially bass-ey (personally, I like it). I believe it sounds the best while listening to classical music.
Definitely stylish and durable!
One thing I really like about this set is that it uses the APT-X technology which eliminates the lag that you often have between the audio and video tracks when you are viewing videos. I tested these out with my 6 year-old MacBook Pro and had no sync issues what so ever which makes these great headphones to wear when watching videos.
The headphones come with three sets of tips and stabilizers, a small, medium and large. The proper sized tips are essential for getting the best sound from any in-ear headphones. If the size of the tip is too small for your ear it will not seal off properly and the bass response you will get will be minimal.
The overall sound here is quite good and better than some others I have tested out that were more expensive. This pair pulls off a nice balance and brings both bass and clarity to the set. The amount of volume is more than enough even for anyone as when the volume on the phone and headphones are at their maximum the sound is too loud to listen comfortably.
The packaging here is simple, a plain white box with the headphones and a little bag with the extra tips and stabilizers along with the instruction booklet. The unit easily paired with my iPhone 6 and showed up as QY5. If you do an Amazon search for QY5 you'll find the same headphones under a variety of manufacturer names.
The controls are all on the cord with buttons to raise or lower the volume, move forward or backward in your playlist and answer an incoming call. Everything works as it should.Read more ›
In conclusion, these headphones exceeded all my expectation and were well worth the money. I just wish they were less bulky to carry around.

I have had these for awhile now and I like them. They sound good and have lots of bass. They seem to last a long time as I have never ran out of power as if yet. Read morePublished 29 days ago by Wayne Smith
