Disappointing Read,
By Booklover "bOOKLOVER" (Montreal, Quebec Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Series Of Unfortunate Events: Omnibus? (Hardcover)
I was disappointed with this book for various reasons.i felt that the book didn't live at all to the hype. The books were slow moving in places as well as the writing was mediocre. In the first book, which is the best of the three, we are introduced to the Baudelaire children who have become orphans when their parents die in a fire.As a result of their will, the Baudelaire children have to live with Count Olaf, who attempts to steal their inheritance. He pursues them throughout the other two books. This series is nowhere as good as Harry Potter.
