4.0 out of 5 stars I'm a little unsure..., May 7 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Sell It Off (Audio CD)
This is one of the few Christian bands who actually knows how to rock! MOST of the lyrics are good, but sometimes the band adds stuff that really doesn't have to do with the songs at all (lyrics). The thing that makes me a little unsure about this band is that they seem to be unfocused. Examples: while some songs are barely over two minutes, others extend to almost seven minutes. Also, some of the songs sound a little too similiar. The song "Lift it" is an awesome accoustic-driven melodic song, but suddenly it starts the second chorus with heavy electric guitar playing. Although, there is really only one song I find annoying (UNBELIEVABLE). The singer is very unique, and he also stretches his vocal ability (he raps, sings, and screams). And one other thing that bothered me is that they didn't have lyrics written for two songs: When in doubt and another one I can't remember (I think SET IT OFF). The best songs are the first three (puppet, supafly, and when in doubt...although 'Lift it' is also excellent, and probably sends one of the best messages). I recommend this cd to most people.

5.0 out of 5 stars CLEAN LIMP BIZKIT, April 17 2004

This review is from: Sell It Off (Audio CD)
For those of you who love the band Limp Bizkit, then there is a band, with talent, without the lanuage, and without a hated lead singer. I am talking about the band Thousand Foot Krutch. With their fresh freestyles and rock hard beats, Krutch delivers the sound people want to hear. From the opening track til th very end, TFK rocks the party all night long. And if you don't like rap so much, theres plenty of rock and punk/rock songs to blend in. This is a definite must have. And for those TFK fans who missed out on buying this cd, then you can get it on eBay and on the Buy it new or used link next to the original price. So go find it!

4.0 out of 5 stars Punk Flow at it's best, Feb 17 2004
By
This review is from: Sell It Off (Audio CD)
Hold up wait a minute, this is the best CD for punk rappers. What is punk rap? It is a term I came up with to describe it when the words are rapped but the music genre is obviously punk rock. The lyrics are unbelievable in their glorification of our savior as well as being catchy and fun to sing along with. Thousand Foot Krutch really did set it off when they wrote their amazing guitar solos that make you want air guitar everytime the solo is played. The only draw back that I found is some of their rap is hard to follow, but at the same time the tune is so amazing that the music really forces you to look up those dificult lyrics.

When I first bought this CD I couldn't stop listening to it for weeks. An amazing buy!
