The Best Parenting Book on the Market,

I have read many, many books on this topic. This one is the best by far. The examples are illustrative and believable. The methods are taught clearly and carefully. The expectations set out are realistic. The insights are incredably helpful. And best of all it really, really works. No more yelling. No power struggles. This author is a genious and I am so grateful that he shared his methods. It gave me the skills I needed so desperately to have a happier, mentally healthier household.

My husband and I found this book so helpful. Our three year old has not been a big problem but some difficulties arose after the birth of our second child. This has helped us be both disciplined and loving with both children.We are trying to figure out a polite way to suggest that some of our friends read it as well.

Of the many books I have read, I have found this book to be very enlighting, entertaining and informative. Not only are you reading the chapters, but at the same time, you are visualizing how to put the recommendations into practice. The many uses of examples and the Parent Study Group Questions help drive the nail home. While our grandparents and parents did the best they could, I find that, after reading this book several times, we can do much better.
