Book Description

Aug. 27 2008
Action, thrill, mystery! As every teen, Leila Montana and Steve McPhee face a dilemma that will radically change their life. By choosing to belong to the Sexteens' Select Society, they gain access to a parallel mythological world. The Sexteens bear a Méva, which is a distinctive sign only visible by the persons who were initiated. It is also a conduit to infinite power. Confrontations and conflictual relationships with adults in position of authority explode throughout the school where every teen hates Harry. In the midst of this adventure, two of their pals mysteriously disappear. Driven by their leadership, cleverness and sex appeal, the teens start an investigation that will lead them to fight the Dark Lorddess, Arachne. In this final showdown, will the power of love succeed in overcoming the love of power?

5.0 out of 5 stars Author fired over this great book Oct. 6 2011
Format:Paperback
This is a great book, but wednesday October 5th, 2011 one of the authors was fired. He was the person in charge of disciplinary action against teachers in Toronto Canada. Writing about teenagers having sex with teachers was too much for the public to accept from someone that works in a job related to education.

1.0 out of 5 stars garbage Dec 7 2012
By Chuck - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I purchased this book to see what the fuss was about.. the author was named in an investigation that raised some questions about the propriety of a member of the teaching profession writing a book with this content. He was a chair in the teacher's federation. There's very little in this book that is readable.. the writing is so poor that it's questionable if the writer (or anyone else) even proof read his copy.. it is rife with typos and grammatical errors. The subject is just plain ridiculous.. don't waste your money.. If I could, I'd give you my copy for free.

1.0 out of 5 stars The scary thing Oct. 5 2011
By Jill - Published on Amazon.com
Format:Paperback
The scary thing is that one of the writers is a teacher and sees nothing wrong with writing a book about and for teens that includes a threesome between a student and two teachers and other highly inappropriate teacher & student interactions. Sorry, if this is not a warning sign then I don't know what is! At best he is acting out his fantasies about students on paper and worst he is using material from his own experience. Either way I would not allow my child to read the book or be in the same school as the writer!
