In a very, very, weak moment, I bought this - thinking it would be a quick, fun read, based on other reviews. Wow, is it terrible. There are no real "guts" to this book or insights provided - just fluff. Overall, poorly written, no interesting stats or facts to support the author's points - just someone's opinion rambling on for far too many pages.

Sexy and Confident is a book that I will be keeping for a while. I discovered many important things in it that really opened my eyes, including why I choose the men I've been choosing. The author really does a good job explaining how to overcome issues and improve self esteem along the way and how to be become that dream girl men want. A definte must read.

This book is probably one of the most accessible books like this out there. It is too the point and it is very easy to read and understand. You can really tell the author knows her stuff too and speaks from personal experience. It tells you at the beginning that it will make you feel better and be more confident and it does. What I liked best about the book was that it really deals in confidence and tells you that is one of the most important things a woman can have at her disposal.
Another thing that that makes this book different from other dating books is that it deals with what's happened in the past that might be hindering someone from moving ahead in the future. It really helped me deal with some issues that I needed to deal with. For that, it was worth the read and I think a lot of other women would benefit, too.

I was surprised when I received the book, because it is so thin. However, the book is divided into many short chapters (I liked it, I could easily read while travelling) which I found very interesting. I also liked the style in which the author writes. She writes wisely and I had the impression, that she really has experience on the matter.
It's a pity not to know anything about her and her background. Throughout the book the message is: respect yourself and expect the others to treat you with respect. If you don't respect yourself, the others won't either. One of the mistakes we do is also, to chase men, to be desperate if they don't call us back, to behave like boys to be their friends instead of being just what we are etc.
I'm reading it again to write down some of the things I would like to remember in order to positively change my behaviour.
