WOW!!! I can't believe that you don't have this CD in your collection! This is a MUST HAVE! The whole CD is filled with GREAT tracks. Even if you only know one Black Crowes song.. "Jealous Again" or "She Talks To Angels", you will soon love the entire CD with great songs as "Sister Luck", "Hard To Handle", "Twice as Hard", "Could I've Been So Blind", "Seeing Things", and the list goes on... If you don't have this CD... Get IT! You will LOVE IT!!!

This is a great CD,

Each track on this album is excellent, with a couple classics. It's an album that has aged extremely well, and the Crowes' raw, and at this point unrefined, energy comes through loud and clear. Ultimately, this is purist rock, with the only hint of any pandering to the masses in "Hard To Handle". Top tracks are "Could I've Been So Blind" and "She Talks To Angels". The band was obviously enjoying their work on this one.

They Never Topped This,
By Melting_Pot (Shreveport, LA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Shake Your Money Maker (Audio CD)
This hard rockin' southern style band charged out of the music scene in 1991, just when grunge was beginning to bust. Although some of their later stuff is good, they never topped this one. Every one of these songs has just a great sound, a feel that makes you want to sing along. Some of the songs are really weird, like Sister Luck and She Talks To Angels. Although their cover of Otis Redding's Hard To Handle is good, it's not the best on the album and I feel is a little overrated. This is a great bet for fans of 90's hard rock or maybe southern hard rock like ZZ Top and Lynryd Skynyrd.
