Another quality piece of work by the Wu tang Clan.Tons of extras and the DVD menus are superb-better than the major studios in most cases.I also can recommend the Wu's newest release of Shaolin Drunkard and Kung Fu of 8 Drunkards.Top notch!

I give the movie a 3.5 and the dvd release a 10/10. May 21 2006
By morgoth - Published on Amazon.com
I should have listened to you guys. Some of these wutang releases are pretty good. I am yet to find a great movie but the dvd releases are always great. When they started with the iron flag collection that was pretty weak. But the last 3 wutang movies I have seen have been good(vol. 8-10). This one starts out like this:Lau kar-wing is getting broken out of prison by beardy(lui jai ren)beardy and wilson tong. They say"what do you wanna do now that you are free". "I wanna kill that guy who locked me up". They go mess up chen kuan tai and kill his wife and kid and whaddayano, he wants revenge. Not too much of a story, btu plenty of stars to make this tired story a watchable one. So Chen Kuan Tai gets like an iron hand and seeks revenge. Mang fei shows up for a nice role as a guy who is trying to arrest Lau Kar wing and his cronies. There is a lot of treachery at the end(no I won't tell you by who), but still not really a good movie. But the fights are not the best but chhen juan tai is in top form. One of the better magn fei performances. And also his brother's best ever(I hate that guy). Wilson tong and beardy are good but tong isn't great. And my favorite character actor EVER shows up and he is almost as good as he was in The Lost Swordship. The rating would have been a 3 for this, btu this guy is so freaking funny, it really doesn't matter how bad the movie is. So look for the guy with the eyepatch.

the dvd presentation itself is awesome as usual. 4 clips of the 4 actors mentioned above. And an interview with all but Chen Kuan Tai. I know fu movies better than most. But Wutang Clan ALWAYS manages to surprise me with their clips they be pullin out. They got a weird tv show where mang fei is a white spandex wearing ninja!! And all the other clips are pretty rare with only 2-3 you will recognize.

Bad quality, and bad sound, pretty good flick.

This movie has all Shaw Bros. stars in it.Chen Kun Tai,Wilson Tong, Thundering Mantis, and a lot of others. So it's tight.I've never heard of this movie before. It never came out in theaters or anything. The Wu Hidden Chambers DVDs are THE BEST DVDs out there!!! The special features are longer than the movies! This one has nterviews with Wilson Tong,Meng Fei and Thundering Mantis!!!Plus a knowledge chamber with real Shaolin Monks telling it like it is!!Bonus fights with all the stars of the film, plus a little bio piece with some real jewels. The Wu has taken music and now they've taken video to another level. And the Wu family has they own chamber, dropping jewels!!!Get the whole set of Hidden Chambers! Check my other reviews!!Peace!

Ground Zero does a good job on this one! Aug. 2 2001
By "greg_rodgers" - Published on Amazon.com
3.5 stars for the movie 5 stars for the DVD.
The story begins with the star Chen Kuan Tai's family being killed by Lau Kar Wing, Leung Kar Yan and Wilson Tong. During the fight that ensues, Chen loses a thumb in the battle. He manages to escape and vows revenge. Enter Meng Fei. He's a scam artist of sorts who forgres a relationship with Chen to thwart the crew of Lau, Leung and Tong. The movie picture is of decent quality and the sound is very good. The DVD is laced with extras including interviews with Meng Fei, Wilson Tong and Leung Kar Yan. There are 8 previews of other GZ releases, Wu Tang video, interview, and commentary plus interviews with two kung fu masters. THis may not be the movie for you as some of the Kung Fu is of average speed with pre-1978 flair but I will say that the layout of this DVD is the best I have ever seen to date. If Ground Zero continues with this..would you ever buy from anyone else!?

Since I purchased this film I have watched it several times and I still think that this is a good martial art movie, it has an all star cast and most of the fight scenes are good.
