Roseanne Barr is fantastic as Ruth Patchett, the unappreciated wife of accountant Bob Patchett. Ruth takes care of her two bratty kids, her home and tries to be the perfect wife for her husband, who married her only because his parents made him. Ruth spills her drink on famous romance novelist Mary Fischer (Meryl Streep) one night. Unfortunately Bob and Mary begin their affair the night of this party and eventually Bob moves out of the family home. As an accountant, Bob lists his 4 assets: Home, career, kids and his freedom...his only liability is Ruth aka the She-Devil. Ruth sets out to take away all of Bob's assets...the result is a devilishly good comedy. Something every husband should see! lol
