I was on a He-Man kick (having bought the 30th anniversary box set and I decided to complete the series with the She-ra cartoon. All of the episodes come with this set starting with the Secret of the Sword movie, broken into 5 episodes. The series uses characters from both the Maters of the Univers and Princess of Power toylines (in fact, quite a few "He-Man" characters have their cartoon debut in "She-Ra.") The cartoon are campy, dopey fun. Like most 80's acton cartoons, the heroes are rarely shown hitting anything with their fists or feet. Characters are rarely seriously injured and the only ones to get seriously pounded by the heroes are the Horde troopers, apparently robots who still need to go to pubs and inn to eat any cause trouble.
The set comes with few extras. There are stickers, a listing of the episodes and an iron-on decal. there are no featuretteslike with the He-Man sets.
All and all, this is a good set for those who were once fans or their children. This is a cartoon that tries to be both a boys and girls' cartoon, with plenty of action and strong female characters.
