5.0 out of 5 stars Good Reference for New Learner Mar 31 2010
By Alan Venable - Published on Amazon.com

Buying this reference has made it really easy for me to learn the various minutiae of scoring with Sibelius at a novice level, doing things like writing several voices on the same staff, inserting text to indicate 7th chords for accordion notation. etc. It's saved me enough learning time in the first week or so to be well worth the cost.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Reference Tool April 26 2010

This is a great reference tool for Sibelius 6 and much needed. It is straight forward and well organized. The index is clear and easy to use. Thankfully, this is a straight forward reference book which does not use the annoying "lesson" approach which seems to plague Sibelius. Frankly, if I want to be taught via "lessons", I'll take a class. I short, I strongly recommend this book to anyone who uses Sibelius and doesn't want to waste time searching for answers to their questions.

There was nothing left out of this documentation. Every question is answered in it, though there were not many questions concerning how to use the software in the first place since it is so intuitive.
