Given the various levels of difficulty one can choose from and the numerous civilizations to choose from - this game can provide months of entertainment. I highly recommend it for anyone who is a fan of strategy games.
The game does allow some micro-management of your cities, but nothing too complicated that would take the fun away and make playing seem like going to work. The graphics are not great, but they serve the purpose of the game. There is some slowdown later in the game when you have a lot of military unities, but they are just annoying - again, this is turn-based, so you are not going to lose battles because of them.
There are many civilizations available for you to play with and each gets unique bonuses, adding to the replay value.
I was surprised about the amount of cool features and content the game has. I figured at first that I would get bored quick, but I was mistaken. Winning with a civilization can easily take 3-4 hours on Warlord mode(easy). You need to utilize the strengths of each civilization that you choose at the start in order to grow faster then your rivals in the game.
The graphics are simplistic. But the characters look great.
The frame rate takes a drastic drop sometimes when it's the opponent's turn to play. But it isn't really frustrating.
I like that you can name what you discover in the game and that you actualy to learn some history facts while playing.
Bref, I bought this game for 30$ and I don't regret it at all. If you like strategy likes Age of Empires, or the old civilization games on PC, you'll enjoy this one for sure.
