5.0 out of 5 stars For Fans of Sidney Crosby Feb. 11 2012
By Mrs M.
Along with other items on the Pittsburg Penguins I purchased this book for my grandson for Xmas and who is 5yrs old and hero worships Sidney Crosby. When it arrived I skimmed quickly through the book before wrapping it and I am delighted to say that it is a very informative book about Sidney. Although my grandson is only learning to read now at school it is a book that can be read by a parent to their children as a bedtime story. It is written in language that a 5year old upwards would understand. In fact myself and my grandson's parents are all going to read this book also. I would recommend this paperback for any child in that age range who wants to learn all there is to learn about Sidney Crosby. It is an extremely well written book full of facts and pictures.

We sent this to our son in Bermuda for a Christmas present and he loves it, as he was an avid hockey player himself several years ago...well written!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Book for Highlights and Children Jan. 20 2011
By Matthew Morine - Published on Amazon.com
This is not one of those long books. It is written more for children. There are two other biographies of Sidney Crosby on the market, and this is not one that is extensive, it is only about 84 pages, which are full of pictures. My mother got me this book for Christmas, and I finished it on Christmas day. It is a fun read about some of the highlights of Crosby's career. It has been short so far, but he has accomplished a lot in this amount of time. He has won some of the major awards in the NHL, won a Stanley Cup, and most importantly, he scored the game willing goal at the 2010 games. He has a gold medal around his neck. Sidney Crosby is my favorite player because he is awesome and second of all, he grew up in Nova Scotia like me. He seems to be a wonderful ambassador for the game, and a genuinely good guy. There are also great stories about him when I travel home to Nova Scotia. For a young fan, or someone just looking for the highlights of his career, this is a great book. There are also some good pictures from his earlier days in the text. The author seems to have a good understand of Crosby because of his location in the world. He is also from N.S. This is definitely a good book about Crosby.
