Disappointed, Nov 23 2011

I have been buying the Sierra Club calendar for years and years and have always loved it, but this year the paper and printing quality has really gone downhill. The pictures look like they could have been printed on my home printer. On some of the months you can actually see the printing from the other side! I'm not sure if they are using some sort of super Earth-friendly paper or what, but I am very disappointed in the image quality this year.

I have been buying the Sierra Club Calendar for 20 + years. Over the years - the pictures are awesome but it seems to use thinner and thinner paper. Even the picture ink quality seems to have suffered this year. It used to be a sturdy, substantial calendar . . . now it's quality is rivalling what you get at the local business that's promoting it's work. Too bad.

These calendars are great and the free shipping was fast!
Note: there is ALSO one version of this Calendar that is printed on better quality paper
and it cost about double; so select yours with that in mind, as you will be looking
at it all year long! The description should be modified to mention that!
I'd also suggest not looking at the images ahead of time,
as it is exciting to view them as each month rolls around!
Happy New Year !
