Tahera Rawji's new cookbook Simply More Indian is superb. I was not sure how Rawji would top her first book Simply Indian, but she managed to do it! Simply More Indian is a visually stunning book with gorgeous and abundant photography. The recipes are a fantastic collection from India, Pakistan and East Africa. Best of all, you don't have to be a gourmet cook or set aside hours in the kitchen to produce delectable results. "Tahera's Tips" help both save money and time. The Indian Pantry photographs at the beginning of the book are very useful for helping to recognize some of the ingredients. Rawji has managed to write another book which makes cooking Indian food both accessible and fun. Bravo! Two thumbs way up!

I bought the first one Simply Indian and loved it so much I had to get this one. It doesn't disappoint! It is a beautiful book full of gorgeous pics and new recipes that are not just Indian. I would suggest to any one interested in exotic flavors and Indian cooking to buy both of her books and enjoy the wide range of delicious food from savory to spicy to sweet!

I bought the author's first book, Simply Indian, and was delighted to find recipes that reminded me of home, with minor modifications that could mirror my own mother's cooking. Simply More Indian was even better - full-colour photographs, more explanations on the background of what the foods are (including English translations), and a great selection of appetizers to desserts that include clear directions and more helpful hints.
