125 easy and delicious Thai recipes.

Thai cuisine is considered one of the world's most delicious and continues to maintain its enormous popularity in North America with its unique blend of tastes: hot, sour, and sweet.

With fail-safe, easy-to-follow recipes, Simply Thai Cooking now includes fifteen new recipes and an expanded vegetarian and chicken section.

Create your favorites like Pad Thai, Yum Mamuang (Green Mango Salad), Nuer Num Mun Hoy (Beef with Oyster Sauce and Mushrooms) and Kaeng Khiao Wan Kai (Chicken in Thai Green Curry). Savor new tastes like Pad Kana (Chinese Broccoli with Shiitaki Mushrooms), Tom Ka Tofu (Coconut-Tofu Soup) and Kang Pa Kai (Jungle Curry Chicken).

Most of the dishes can be prepared in less than 30 minutes. Because these recipes provide excellent nutrition with little fat, they are as healthy as they are delicious.

5.0 out of 5 stars I cook this all the time Feb 3 2008
Format:Paperback
While you need access to an oriental foods store and need to do a bit of mind-reading or patron-accosting (at least at our's - no one knows the English terms for th hard-to-find stuff) to track down the ingredients - the food is a) easy to cook b) really tasty c) healthy. We tend to uh, overeat when I cook Thai and no matter if I double or triple the recipe we always eat it (My wife, three boys and I). Hmmm.

Highly recommend it but suggest you plan on taking your time. Depending on the recipe it can take a couple of hours for prep + cooking time. I put on my 'Cooking' iTunes playlist and my wife and I share the prep work and drink a glass of wine. I'll almost always rope my friends into helping when I cook for them. It's fun!
