5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing, Feb 8 2006
By
Ryan Gruszie (Campbell River BC Canada) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Sing The Light (Paperback)
Absolutly the most emersive sci-fi fantasy series I have ever read. Dont let the young age rating fool you I have read this series 4 time now and am excited to read the newest instalment in the series about young Mreen becoming a full Cantrix to bring warmth and light to Nevya. Must Read Even At The Price.

5.0 out of 5 stars Anne McCaffrey fans now have another great, must-read author, Mar 5 1997

Fans of Anne McCaffrey, especially Pern, should enjoy the Singer trilogy. The writing style strikes me as very similar to Anne, and yet the characters and story are unique. The books (also Sing the Warmth) draw you into the story and makes you feel a part of it. On my scale it rates an excellent can't-get-me-away-from-this-book one-sitting read

I thought the book was amazing, couldn't put it down. being a musician, i found it intriguing how Louise Marley wove musical concepts into the plot. I've now read the whole trilogy 3 times over, and still love it!

5.0 out of 5 stars It was great, I could not possibly put it down!, Jan 12 1999
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com

Sira's quest for belonging was extraordinary especially when she was out alone in freezing temperatures on the ice planet. Nevya itself was a world worth reading about. All of the excitment, adventure and drama represented in the book makes Louise Marley an aspiring writer. I'm looking forward to reading more of her books.
